BestGrips: That Small Texas Leather Golf Grip Company

Golf has been a cherished part of our family since the 1950s when Harry's dad, Bud, took up the game while recovering from the amputation of his leg (due to a plane crash). Harry learned the game from Bud, and Zach, in turn, learned from Harry, finding his passion while watching Bud and Harry organize the East Texas Amputee Golf Tournament.

BestGrips was born in the early 2000s when father-and-son duo Harry and Zach set out to revolutionize golf grips. After countless hours on the range left Zach’s hands blistered and bloodied, we discovered the unmatched comfort and performance of leather. In 2010, we launched our first products: the Best Club Grip and Best Putter Grip, crafted from smooth leather in black or burgundy for exceptional tack and durability. Over time, we expanded with innovative options like the extra-tacky MicroPerf, the ultra-comfortable Major Leaguer, the vibrant GT-L, and the luxurious Horween® Dublin Leathers.
